Join us for a relaxed and welcoming Community Crochet Circle at Dāha Wellness
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned stitcher, this is a space to slow down, connect, and create together.
Crochet is more than just a craft, it’s a powerful wellness practice. The gentle, repetitive motion of stitching can help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and ease anxiety. Many people find crochet brings a sense of mindfulness and focus, much like meditation. It can improve mood, boost self-esteem through creative accomplishment, and provide a soothing rhythm in a busy world.
As a collective, we may choose to work towards meaningful shared projects, such as creating soft beanies for individuals undergoing cancer treatment, crafting lap blankets for those in need of extra comfort, or contributing handmade items to local community initiatives. Working towards a common goal brings purpose to our creativity and deepens our sense of contribution.
Bring your hooks, yarn, and enthusiasm, or simply bring yourself and learn with us. Instruction, encouragement, and gentle conversation will be provided.
Come for the stitches. Stay for the connection.
Our hope is this will be a free, monthly event led by our volunteer crochet enthusiast. We only ask that if you cannot attend after booking your place that you please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Thank you!
